Motorcyle Accident Leads To Fatality in Washington County, Arkansas

Motorcycle Accident Lawyers Arkansas

An Arkansas man was killed after his motorcycle crashed in Washington County this week, according to a newly released report.


The report, released from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS), says that 29-year-old Eric McFarland of Harrison was killed on U.S. Hwy 412 near Blue Springs Road in Sonora at around 6:23 p.m. on June 14.


The report says that McFarland was driving east on 412 while a second vehicle was attempting to cross 412 from Blue Springs Road.


The second vehicle then pulled out in front of McFarland, who was unable to slow down and struck the driver side rear of the second vehicle, according to the report. McFarland was on a Suzuki motorcycle.


Arkansas State Police investigated the crash and report that conditions were clear and dry.

The report lists no other deaths or injuries.
