White County Head On Collision Leads to Fatality

A woman is dead and three people are injured after a head-on collision in White County.


Arkansas State Police arrived at the crash on U.S Highway 64 near Big Green Tom Lake at 9:14 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.


According to the crash report, 36-year-old Whitney Taylor, of Wynne, was traveling eastbound on U.S Highway 64 with two minors in a 2024 GMC Yukon vehicle.


60-year-old Lisa Beard, of Bald Knob, was traveling westbound in a 2006 Dodge Charger.


Taylor’s vehicle crossed the center line and the front of her car collided with Beard’s vehicle.


Taylor and the two minors were injured and taken to Unity Health Hospital in Searcy.


Beard did not survive her injuries.


The condition of the roads was clear and dry during the time of the crash.
